ISO Certification Process

ProCert Uk follow a systematic and transparent ISO Certification Process designed to help organizations implement effective management systems and gain global recognition for quality, safety, and efficiency. As a non-IAF certification body, our certification process focuses on practical compliance, continual improvement, and customer satisfaction.

Our aim is to support businesses of all sizes in achieving ISO certification in a simple, time-bound, and cost-effective manner.

Step 1: Application & Quotation

The certification process begins with the client submitting an application form. This form collects essential details such as company name, location, activities, number of employees, and the ISO standard they wish to achieve.
Once received, our team reviews the application and provides a quotation along with a certification proposal, including audit duration, scope, and applicable terms and conditions. After the client accepts the quotation, the process officially begins.

Step 2: Documentation Review (Stage 1 Audit)

The Stage 1 Audit involves a review of the organization’s documented management system to evaluate its readiness for certification. Our auditors verify that the documented policies, procedures, and records meet the requirements of the selected ISO standard (for example, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.).
During this stage, our auditors identify any areas of concern or gaps that need to be addressed before the final audit. This step ensures that the organization is well-prepared for the next phase.

Step 3: On-Site Assessment (Stage 2 Audit)

The Stage 2 Audit is conducted at the client’s site to assess the actual implementation and effectiveness of the management system. Our auditors check operational processes, interview employees, and review records to confirm compliance with ISO requirements.
At the end of the audit, a closing meeting is held where audit findings are discussed. If any nonconformities are identified, the organization is required to take corrective action within a defined time frame.

Step 4: Certification Decision & Issuance

After the successful completion of both audit stages and verification of corrective actions, the audit report is reviewed by our independent certification panel. If compliance is confirmed, ISO Certification is granted to the organization.
The issued certificate demonstrates that the organization’s management system conforms to the selected ISO standard and is effectively implemented.

Step 5: Surveillance Audits

To ensure ongoing compliance, surveillance audits are conducted annually during the three-year certification cycle. These audits verify that the management system continues to meet ISO requirements and that continual improvement is maintained.

Step 6: Recertification

At the end of the certification cycle (usually three years), a recertification audit is performed. This audit ensures that the management system remains suitable and effective, and upon successful completion, a new certificate is issued for another three years.

Conclusion:
ProCert Uk provide non-IAF ISO certifications that help organizations demonstrate commitment to quality, safety, and reliability. Our simplified, result-oriented certification process ensures that every client receives professional service, transparency, and genuine value for their investment in ISO compliance.
